Craze of India makes people crazzyyy !!

Being a consultant, I heard myself telling innumerable times about India shining and India growing. I always believed that India is growing, Indians are at par intelligent and smart enough to manage any company operations etc. , the inflow of companies have gone higher and probably because of that the inflow of tourist is much better now.
But last week when I was in stationary shop in Connaught place, I found a foreigner lady asking for loose printing papers and not the whole box as that was useless for her.
After asking for long, she couldn’t get it as shopkeeper told that now full boxes are sold easily and loose papers are not easily available.
She turned back, little disappointed and said “That’s why I say now India has changed, there is not the same craze of living as it was before, now India has imbibed western culture, you will find things big and more and not small and handy. Everything has changed, people has stopped wearing their cultural clothes and forgotten their traditions."
I found that she came from US and settled with her family in Kerala because she loved the simplicity and traditions of the nation.
Her disappointment was logical but what should India do? India is developing fast to keep pace with the developed world.I can see a clash of traditions and development happening in the country.
But this small moment was an eye opener for me as now I know, tourists come to enjoy Indian tradition and culture. They come to experience the vermilions, herbs, food, dress, people, religions, monuments, colors and lot more for which India is being known for ages.
